goTravel
Role: UX/UI Design, Visual Identity, Branding
Scope: User research, interface redesign, information hierarchy, logo and visual system redesign
GoTravel is an internal search platform used by security personnel at the United Nations to access and analyze international travel records associated with individuals under criminal investigation. The tool supports efforts to identify suspicious travel patterns linked to activities such as human trafficking, drug trafficking, and other forms of transnational crime conducted through air travel.
This was a volunteer project completed in collaboration with a team of engineers at the United Nations, focused on rebranding the platform’s identity and redesigning the user experience. The existing interface contained densely packed information with limited visual hierarchy, making searches difficult and reducing readability. The redesigned experience introduced a cleaner, more intuitive interface with improved spacing, stronger organization of information, and a more efficient search experience. A modernized color palette and refreshed logo system also helped create a more polished and professional visual identity.
